Manchester United gaffer Ole gunner Solskjaer has reiterated that Ighalo is still a very important part of his squad.
Speaking in a pre match conference in Paris ahead of the week one champions league cracker against last year’s semi finalists PSG, when questioned by Footballworld5 on what changed from 8months ago that he was singing the praises of Ighalo to this point that he has relegated him to the bench, and also reenforcing the squad with another striker in Edison Cavani, he revealed;
“We had some very good performances by Odion and he his still a very important part of the club.”
He further disclosed that Edison Cavani who last saw football action in May 2020 will be a catalyst to the 31-year-old Nigerian striker.
“I think Edison Cavani coming in will give him more time to adapt to the Premier League, and to us as a team and get a sharpness and fitness back.”
Jude Odion Ighalo is among the team that traveled to Paris and will be hoping to be in the team that will be led by Bruno Alves tomorrow, as revealed by Ole in the press conference tonight.
